Sikorsky Aircraft Takes Part in HeliRussia 2011

American company “Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation” is taking part in the Fourth International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2011, which is to be held in Moscow, IEC ‘Crocus Expo’, 19-21 May 2011.

For more than 15 years Sikorsky Aircraft hasn’t appeared in Russia. It’s participation in the specialized Exhibition in Moscow shows the growing interest of foreign helicopter manufacturers in Russian helicopter market.

Sergei Sikorsky, who successfully continues his famous father’s business, will come to Russia as a member of Sikorsky Aircraft delegation. His father, Igor Sikorsky, the outstanding aircraft designer of the 20^th century, found the “Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation” in 1923.

The exact date and time of the upcoming events, planned by Sikorsky Aircraft for HeliRussia 2011 hasn’t been announced yet. For the moment, the company plans to organize a press-conference and a cocktail-reception with Sergey Sikorsky.
