04.12.2009 Russian Helicopters and UZROSAVIA Boosting Maintenance in Central Asia
Russian Helicopters, JSC, and UZROSAVIA ( Uzbekistan) have signed an agreement on the principles of cooperation in service and maintenance of Russian rotorcraft. The agreement was signed in Moscow and will coordinate the cooperation of the two companies on service and maintenance of Russian rotorcraft in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. The agreement is effective 5 years and may be continued.
06.11.2009 New combat trainer based on the Mi-28N
The Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant will soon engage in design and manufacturer of a new combat trainer based on the Mi-28N ‘Night Hunter’ attack helicopter.
The new Mi-28UB will be produced within the framework of the Mi-28N modernization project. According to Boris Slyusar, CEO of Rostvertol Postov Helicopter Plant, part of the industrial holding managed by Russian Helicopters, the company is planning to double the production of the Mi-28N by 2015. At present the annual output of the Mi-28N totals only 8-10 aircraft and Rostvertol expects to increase manufacture up to 20 per year.
03.11.2009 RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS EXPECTS DEMAND FOR FIREFIGHTING HELICOPTERS TO GROW
Frankfurt am Main/3 November 2009 – Russian Helicopters showcased its firefighting rotorcraft at the international airspace supply fair AIRTEC 2009 that kicked off today in Frankfurt. The recent certification by EASA of the multi-role Ka-32A11BC, also used in firefighting missions, makes it an attractive option for commercial operators in the EU. It can now be employed by both EU state authorities and private helicopter companies.

Frankfurt am Main/3 November 2009 – Russian Helicopters showcased a Russian-made helicopter lineup at the international airspace supply fair AIRTEC 2009 that kicked off today in Frankfurt. Russian specialists from the holding have spoken to potential European customers and existing regional partners on the advantages of popular Russian multi-role helicopters such as the Mi-17, special capabilities of the recently EASA-certified Ka-32A11BC and ways of employing the multi-role Mi-38 that is awaiting mass production. Exhibition visitors were shown mock-ups of the new light Ka-226T and Ansat helicopters.
